While we love the crazy contestants and the thrill of seeing who will get kicked off each week, we really watch reality TV for the host eye candy! Check out some of the hottest hosts in all of TV land. 1. Brooke Burke Not only did Brooke Burke win her season of Dancing With the Stars, she also went on the host the show! The former Playboy model had previously hosted E!'s Wild On and CBS's Rock Star. Burke was definitely a welcome addition to Dancing With the Stars — Tom Bergeron is fairly dapper, but you can't beat a hot girl when it comes to hosting sex appeal.
2. Cat Deeley While her mile long legs and her endless supply of thigh-skimming dresses, Cat Deeley is definitely one of the sexiest hosts on TV. The British beauty hosts So You Think You Can Dance, where her fun and flirty sass stands out amidst the flurry of pliés and pirouettes. We're crossing our fingers that she can steal the Best Host Emmy from Jeff Probst next year.
3. Ryan Seacrest Ryan Seacrest launched his campaign to take over your TV (and the world) back in 2001 when he took a job co-hosting a little know music show called American Idol. Ten years later, Idol is still a mega-hit and Seacrest also anchors E! News, hosts a daily morning radio show, and produces all of the Kardashian programming you love to hate. Oh, and he dates Julianne Hough too. Seacrest out!
4. Tyra Banks Tyra Banks has been hosting America's Top Model since 2003, and over the years she's taught us many important lessons about "smizing" (smiling with your eyes) and modelling from "H to T" (head to toe, naturally). The former model also hosted her own talk show (R.I.P. Tyra Banks Show) and she's even written a young adult novel called Modelland.
5. Mario Lopez It seems like the former Saved By the Bell hottie hosts just about everything these days. You can't turn on the television without seeing Mario Lopez hosting Extra, America's Best Dance Crew, or the Miss America Pageant. Lopez is a very busy guy, but he recently got some more free time — H8R, a show that he hosted about celebrities confronting their haters, was recently canceled by the CW.
6. Heidi Klum Heidi Klum proves that some people win the awesome life lottery. She's one of the most beautiful women in the world, she's got a husband that loves her, and she's the host of the wildly popular design show Project Runway. We definitely won't be saying "auf wiedersehen" to Klum's star power anytime soon.
7. Nick Cannon We sometimes forget that Mr. Mariah Carey actually has his own career! Nick Cannon was a relatively successful rapper and actor before he made the move into hosting. In 2009 he replaced Jerry Springer as the host of America's Got Talent.
8. Jill Wagner Jill Wagner got her start in Hollywood working on MTV's Punk'd, so you know this funny gal is always up for hilarious hijinks. Nowadays, Wagner puts her hosting skills to good use on Wipeout, where she interviews the contestants before they humiliate themselves face planting off of giant red balls.
9. Curtis Stone Aussie chef Curtis Stone appeared as a judge on America's Next Great Restaurant with Bobby Flay and he recently took over as the host of the third season of Bravo's Top Chef Masters. He's a cute guy with an accent who can cook — can someone please get us his number?
10. Nick Lachey Nick Lachey was married to Jessica Simpson and once sang in the boy band 98 Degrees, but these days he's better known for hosting NBC's The Sing-Off, which pits a cappella groups against each other.
11. Padma Lakshmi There are many mysteries in the world, but one of the greatest ones is how Padma Lakshmi manages to stay so slim and sexy while she's hosting Top Chef. The Indian beauty was a world famous model before she got the gig hosting Top Chef, so she's got to have some dieting secrets up her sleeve. Feel free to share, Padma.
12. Bear Grylls Bear Grylls is the most rugged host on our list, but that's part of what makes British outdoorsman so darned sexy. The host of Man vs. Wild has slept inside a camel carcass, drank his own urine, and eaten all manner of disgusting bugs. If you even have to survive in a barren wilderness, you know which hot host to call.
13. Jeff Probst In the 11 years that Jeff Probst has been hosting Survivor, he has filmed in bug infested rain forests, remote beaches, and rugged jungles. He even hosted from the edge of a live volcano once! Proof that Jeff Probst is still one of TV's hottest hosts, even after all these years? Check out his hot date to the 2011 Emmy Awards.
14. Chris Harrison It takes a skillful host to put up with all of the drama, tears, and broken hearts on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but Chris Harrison always knows how to handle the jilted lovers. If his hosting gigs ever peter out Harrison would probably make a good couples therapist.
15. Ty Pennington Ty Pennington got his start modeling, but it was his carpentry and hosting skills that launched him to stardom. He got his start as the hottie carpenter on Trading Spaces, then moved on to ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which is noteworthy for making us tear up every single week. |
